Why USDT Specifically
USDT is a stablecoin — its value is pegged roughly 1:1 to the US dollar, so unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, you don't have to think about price swings between depositing and spending. That makes it a practical, boring-in-a-good-way way to pay online without going through a card processor or bank.
The Actual Steps
First, you need USDT sitting in a wallet you control — most people get this from a crypto exchange (Binance, Coinbase, and similar all support USDT). From there:
- Open your PVAStore wallet page and choose USDT as your deposit method.
- You'll be shown a deposit address and network (TRC20 or ERC20 — pick whichever matches where your USDT already sits).
- Send the amount from your exchange or wallet app to that address.
- Upload a screenshot of the completed transaction and submit.
- An admin reviews it — this is a manual check, not automatic — and your wallet balance updates once approved.
Common First-Time Mistakes
The single most common error is sending USDT on the wrong network — TRC20 and ERC20 are not interchangeable, and funds sent on the wrong one can be difficult or impossible to recover. Double-check the network matches before sending.
The second is sending an amount that doesn't match what you meant to deposit due to network fees being deducted — send a little extra buffer if your wallet doesn't clearly show the fee before confirming.
What Happens After
Once your balance is approved, it sits in your PVAStore wallet exactly like store credit — spend it on any listing, any time. There's no expiry and no extra step required at checkout beyond having the balance available.
